Swap USDT to BTC
Turn stablecoins into bitcoin, delivered to your own BTC wallet.

How to swap USDT to BTC
Pick the right USDT
Open your wallet and see which network your USDT is on. Choose that exact version in the widget.
Paste your BTC address
Use a bc1 address from your Bitcoin wallet, hardware wallet or exchange BTC deposit page.
Send the USDT
Send on the same network you selected. Your wallet needs some TRX (Tron) or ETH (Ethereum) to pay the sending fee.
Receive BTC
The BTC shows in your wallet within minutes as unconfirmed, then confirms with the next Bitcoin blocks.
The mistake on this pair: no gas token to send USDT
USDT can’t pay its own transfer fee. On Tron, sending USDT burns TRX. On Ethereum, it costs ETH.
So people with 500 USDT and zero TRX hit “insufficient energy” and get stuck. The fix is to keep a small amount of TRX or ETH in the same wallet before you start.
And when the wallet asks which network, pick the one your USDT actually sits on. TRC-20 USDT sent to an ERC-20 deposit address won’t arrive.
Fixed or floating for USDT to BTC?
USDT doesn’t move, so the only price risk is BTC. For everyday amounts, floating is fine since Tron deposits confirm in about a minute.
If you’re sending from Ethereum on a busy day, or you need an exact amount of BTC, use fixed.
USDT to BTC questions
Which USDT networks can I send from?
The common ones are Tron (TRC-20), Ethereum (ERC-20) and BNB Chain (BEP-20). The widget lists every version it supports as a separate coin. Choose the one your USDT is on.
Why does my wallet say I need TRX?
Sending USDT on Tron costs network resources that are paid in TRX. Keep a little TRX in the wallet. On Ethereum, you need ETH for the same reason.
Which network is cheapest to send from?
Tron is usually cheaper than Ethereum mainnet for USDT transfers, but fees change with network load. Compare in your wallet before sending.
I sent USDT on the wrong network. Can I get it back?
Contact the exchange partner’s support with your swap ID and transaction hash. Sometimes it can be recovered, sometimes not, and it’s never fast.
What kind of BTC address should I use?
Any valid Bitcoin address works. bc1q addresses are the most common today and keep fees low when you spend the BTC later.
How long does USDT to BTC take?
Usually 10 to 30 minutes in total. The USDT deposit is quick, and the BTC payout then needs a block or two to confirm in your wallet.
Is there a minimum?
Yes, set by the partner and shown in the widget. It can differ by USDT network.
